Wacom and Manga Studio

I've been experimenting with my new Wacom Bamboo and Manga Studio.

I used to draw my comic pages traditionally, as in paper and ink, then scan it and digitally color it.

This time I don't have the luxury of my scanner because I'm away from home.

But I bought a Wacom Tablet, and trying to go all digital. No more paper, scanners and art tools.

This will free up space and clutter in the house :)

For my first experiment, an Avengers page.

I struggled on my first attempt (that would be the first 2 panels). So I rested my digital pen and called it a day.

The next day, before I hit the drawing board... err... digital canvass. I read up on the manual to learn a thing or two that might help ease out my transition to digital drawing. The lesson was "How to Create a New Brush", and sure enough I was getting the hang of it! I actually drew faster in digital and I like the polished finish of my brush strokes (check-out the last 4 panels ;))!

Needless to say I'm very happy with my Wacom Bamboo :)

Here's the said page:
